STEVE KABBA has returned to Palace from his loan spell at Grimsby - earlier than expected.
KABBA was due to return to Palace after Grimsby's clash with Preston on the 16th November, but Trevor Francis has decided to recall him now.
The move will be a blow to Mariners boss Paul Groves, who has relied on KABBA to bang in the goals for their club.
KABBA has scored six times in 13 appearances for Grimsby, and also scored on the opening day of the season for the Eagles in their 2-1 victory over Preston.
This move could have resulted from the groin injury sustained by Dougie Freedman in last night's 3-0 victory over Coventry in the Worthington Cup.
Francis will be keen for KABBA to continue his rich vein of form.
